Lookout Beach

Lookout Beach

Just a few minutes away by bike or a very scenic walk through an upmarket housing area is Plettenberg Bay´s famous Lookout Beach.

Lookout Restaurant

The nearby restaurants are fantastic for an ice-cold beer or a glass of renowned South African wine.

2007 Flood

2007 heavy rains and high seas wiped out the entire beach.

In 2012 the beach started to return when another flood opened up a second river mouth again.

The rivermouth is actually everchanging and moving the bay up and down between the Riverclub near Keurboomstrand and Plettenberg
