Mulching our Food Forest

We are getting our external Mulch in Bulk from either Treepro or Meltonfarm.

Treepro is owned by Pieter Boshoff. His wife Gaye is a passionate permaculturist too. They run the HoneymoonFarm.

Application of aged Mulch in January 2022

Since our start on 23rd September 2019 to establish a Food Forest we added 3 truck loads (!) of mulch and 2 truck loads of compost to improve our clay soil at Rosheen Crescent 17!

After about 5-7 years a Food Forest produces enough mulch to support its own growth.
